Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7, Z Flip7 and Z Flip7 FE certified in Indonesia

Samsung’s next generation foldables are clearing the last hurdles before the big Galaxy Unpacked event. The main trio was certified by Indonesia’s TKDN.

There are three models – the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 (SM-F766B) and its new affordable companion, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE (SM-F761B), and the flagship Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 (SM-F966B).

There may be one more – Samsung officially showed a very brief teaser for the Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra. It’s not showing up on the Indonesian authority certification list, which may suggest limited availability (ideally, not as limited as the Z Fold Limited Edition).

As for the flips, the Galaxy Z Flip7 will be powered by Exynos 2500, while the cheaper FE model will get the older Exynos 2400. And it seems that the US isn’t getting a pass this time and will get an Exynos-powered Z Flip7. The Z Fold7 will probably use the Snapdragon 8 Elite globally, though. By the way, Samsung has officially confirmed that the new One UI 8 will debut with the new foldables (though an open beta is already available for the S25 models).

Besides introducing two new tiers of Galaxy Z Foldables, the Unpacked event in early July will bring new watches – the Galaxy Watch8 Classic renders show an Ultra-like squircle design and a rotating bezel. There will be a vanilla Watch8 too. And maybe, just maybe, the Project Moohan XR headset will launch. It is a collaboration between Samsung and Google that Google says is coming later this year.
