vivo starts teasing the T4 Ultra, focuses on its camera prowess

vivo has officially started teasing the upcoming T4 Ultra through its Indian X account today. As you can see in the embedded post below, the main selling point here seems to be the “Ultra-powerful zoom” which is also described as “flagship-level”.

From the quick shot of the phone’s camera island in the video, we can glimpse a “100X” inscription, which is clearly the maximum digital zoom it will be capable of.

There are no other official details just yet, just a “coming soon” notice, but according to previous rumors, the phone will come with a 6.67-inch OLED screen with “1.5K” resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50 MP main camera using Sony’s IMX921 sensor, a 50 MP periscope telephoto camera that will handle all of that “flagship-level” zooming, and support for 90W wired charging.

It’s supposedly launching in early June with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC at the helm, paired with 8GB of RAM. It will run Android 15 with vivo’s Funtouch OS 15 on top. The T4 Ultra will join the already available T4 and T4x in the company’s roster, and a T4 Lite might be on the way too.
