Alcatel V3 series debuts in India
Alcatel’s re-entry to the Indian smartphone market is now complete with the arrival of the V3 series. The new Alcatel devices are manufactured in India, with NxtCell India handling the manufacturing and market distribution. Alcatel V3 Classic is the entry-level offering of the bunch and is a rebadged TCL 60. Alcatel V3 Pro is identical to the TCL 60 SE NxtPaper while the V3 Ultra is based on the TCL 50 Pro NxtPaper.

The V3 Pro and V3 Ultra offer NxtPaper displays that mimic e-book screens thanks to their special etched anti-glare glass coating and blue light filters. The pair features a dedicated NxtPaper key that toggles between the four available screen modes. Max Ink mode transforms the phone’s UI to grayscale for a distraction-free e-reader experience and extends the overall battery life up to 7 days of reading.

That’s complemented by the Ink Paper mode, which offers an e-book-like interface and the Colour Paper Mode, that’s tailored for graphic novels, comics and e-newspapers.
